20 Questions for the END of your job interview
"It's our policy" Well, it's not mine, sooo.
Negotiating my bills isn’t an option where I live. I wish it was.
I love this. But not sure this advice works in Canada...😕🇨🇦
This is so true! Now, could you share tips on how to use soft skills to amplify your abilities in a new job or field?
Love this!
I walked into my interview sweaty and smelly
Yeah, these motherfuckers don't read
This is very field based though. Can we get an idea the fields this is sought and ones it likely still is a negative when discussing this?
Teacher
my uncle and aunt were contacted while on bereavement leave but that’s because they are department heads at hospitals. if this doesn’t apply, then don’t contact them!
I need help! My 1 co worker just put in his notice and my other 2co worker is about to submit it next week. I was planing to also put in my two weeks this month due to the fact I am going to school to go after what I truly want. BUT that is going to leave my coworkers that are staying in a pinch I can’t stay because I don’t wnat to. But should I put my notice before my other 2 coworkers does and how do I do it in an away that is respectful because this is actually one of the best work environments I’ve ever been in! Any tips would be appreciated 💗
Very good advice! Thank you❤
Make sure it doesn't align with market value.
Customer: I wanted to use this coupon on this TV Cashier: Nope. Here's a loaf of bread instead.
Yes, getting high does reduce stress and can improve performance. Not sure I'd recommend getting high before a job interview but you do you.
But why? I feel like saying you use these programs is like admitting you don't know how to write, organize, or research. Genuinely do not see how this could be a plus beyond some old people thinking it sounds fancy
I would confront and take the credit even tho i know it would be wrong I HATE when others take my credit 😭
Yes, great advice! Furthermore, Trump 2024!
Is being this good at dancing normal?? I can't dance lol
Love it! I have an interview in the morning, wish me luck! I'll get the playlist ready.
My previous boss yelled at the cybersec guy and told him to fuck off so they reported him to his company and got him fired. And then they hired me
I work in HR and I can 100% say, that every time I have finished with an interview, I have gone back to the receptionist and ask how they were while they waiting for me to get there. Dont get me wrong, the receptionist does not make the final decision, but how you treat everyone plays a huge factor.
Possibly the most useful tip I've ever gotten for my working life! Taking the Me Hour first thing instead of at the end of the day could make waking up more exciting instead of something to dread; after all, I'm waking up in order to immediately do what I want, not to immediately do the overworking that others want from me.
Doesnt work when you do a trade. Nobody wants a tradesman who uses AI.
So LIE and accommodate them like the babies they are. Got it. WHY is saying "No" and respecting people's Boundaries, Solidarity Times, Sick/Healing Times ABANDONED like a Whisper in a Tornado?!
I had a situation like this in college. I was hired by one manager and made an agreement that I would only work a weekend if she gave me 2 weeks' notice and only if she had no one else to work. That store manager left for another store, and a new manager was brought in. She was made aware of the agreement but was not as understanding that I was only in town during the week to attend school and then went home for the weekends. I started having to work one weekend a month and got a 2 weeks notice each time. When I confronted my manager and explained it was only for certain circumstances, not a monthly thing, she said I would have to work 1 weekend a month became that is how she ran her store. I ended up quitting after about 3 or 4 months of that. That isn't how my agreement was set u, so I left.
Will try this before my next interview
No. If you dictate an interview with that level of self importance, you're 100% not getting that job... this is the type of advice a trust fund baby would offer.
Oh man thats so frustrating!
I've been at this job for a year now and even got a raise! I'm terrified I'll be fired after getting chewed out, put on a PIP, and I just made another fucking mistake when sending out the newsletter. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Beforw going to work
As an introverted antisocial, I'm gonna use this trick at every social gathering now...be that formal or informal🤐🫣😂
I will always use a different email for applying for jobs ❤
THANK YOU ❤
In the same way people have a right to not drink water
Yessss🎉🎉🎉
Also if your not comfortable with the AI just put it in white font on there
"It's like... 2am" Me thinking that is still "early": 💀💀💀

Does sharing where your pants are from count as career advice?? Because neeeeed them!
I need this remix and those pants!!! I'm interviewing and know I will need those!
If you want to get into the chemical industry being part of the volunteer fire brigade helps alot because they need to keep up certain safety standards also a drivers license helps alot in many jobs. If you re in a job think about where you re wanting to go and make it known, get some little side projects who fit your goal. I go into statistics because of one.
I swear the US needs to get some more law to protect it's workers. In other countries like france, Sweden and ect employers have to give employees a notice period. Which basically means when you fire someone you have to let them know in advance.
Do you have one for a sexist boss?
Its actually true. I had a chance to work on an AI project and ever since I mentioned it on my resume ive been getting so much calls back! Crazy seeing this now!
You’ll perspective will be completely different when you’re 50.
A company I interviewed for recently asked me about my transportation and seemed happy that I said I have a car. I am guessing that if I used public transit it would put me at a disadvantage for hire.
Unless they have in place already a CIP (corporate incentive plan), you will not get a bonus. You should be aware of your goals and should be measuring those every single month towards your bonus percentage for your division. If you don’t already know about this information and how to attain that bonus of what your goals are your expectations the threshold, and then the superior ratings, there’s no such thing as a bonus at the end of the year.
"I assume that this assignment is an example of the kind of work I'll be doing as an employee at your company, so I'll be happy to start work on it once we've agreed to the terms of my employment." Nobody should work for free. Don't let them pull this shit AT. ALL.
